Atos Launches NIS2 Compliance Manager App on ServiceNow

Today’s columnist, Leila Powell of Panaseer, explains why US companies must pay attention to NIS2. (EU)

Atos has introduced the SecureHorizons NIS2 Compliance Manager Application, a solution designed to help organizations meet the European Union’s updated Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2) requirements. Built on the ServiceNow platform, the app automates compliance-related workflows, reducing reliance on manual processes and streamlining governance efforts.

The NIS2 Directive mandates stringent cybersecurity obligations for organizations operating in or doing business with the EU. These include implementing risk management practices, conducting regular employee training, and maintaining ongoing documentation and reporting for audit-readiness. Non-compliance could result in penalties of up to 10 million Euros or 2% of global annual revenue.

The SecureHorizons application offers a centralized dashboard for visibility into compliance status, automates policy enforcement workflows, and supports integration across teams and systems. Organizations can leverage prebuilt modules for faster implementation, align compliance tracking with existing frameworks, and reduce operational risk through standardized controls. By combining Atos’ regulatory expertise with ServiceNow’s workflow engine, the solution enables customers to proactively close compliance gaps and manage evolving cybersecurity requirements across multinational operations.

With NIS2 introducing more stringent and far-reaching cybersecurity requirements across the EU, service providers need scalable tools to manage compliance for multiple customers efficiently. This solution helps consolidate compliance workflows into a single platform—automating tasks like risk assessments, documentation, and reporting. By reducing manual effort and standardizing compliance practices, MSPs can deliver more consistent, audit-ready services while scaling their operations. For channel partners, the application presents a clear opportunity to expand their service offerings and can package the Compliance Manager as part of broader risk management or digital transformation engagements. This not only adds value to their existing solutions portfolio but also creates new revenue opportunities through recurring compliance-as-a-service models.
