Logicalis has launched Cisco’s Extended Detection and Response (XDR) as a managed service across the Asia Pacific region, marking a key milestone in its regional cybersecurity strategy. With this move, Logicalis becomes the first Cisco partner in APAC to roll out Cisco MXDR as a global managed service. The offering, now live in markets including Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, aims to provide enterprises with an integrated and scalable approach to detecting and responding to cyber threats. The launch comes as organizations across APAC face mounting pressure to strengthen cyber resilience. According to Logicalis’ APAC CIO report, 91% of businesses experienced a cybersecurity incident in the past year, with over half reporting multiple breaches. The Cisco XDR platform consolidates threat detection and response across multiple domains—endpoint, network, cloud, and applications—into a single coordinated view. Delivered through Logicalis’s 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) in Malaysia and supported by its global SOC network, the service allows regional enterprises to adopt a unified security posture while alleviating pressure from internal skill shortages.Logicalis is also in the process of validating the offering as a Cisco Powered Service (CPS), reinforcing its role as a global managed security partner. The integration of Cisco’s AI-powered threat detection with Logicalis's global intelligence infrastructure ensures that customers benefit from a more responsive and context-aware security model—one that is tailored to the specific challenges of the APAC threat landscape.
