Infosys Expands Cybersecurity Reach with Acquisition of The Missing Link

Infosys has announced plans to acquire The Missing Link, an Australian cybersecurity and IT services firm. This move is part of Infosys’ ongoing strategy to deepen its digital capabilities while responding to increased client demand for robust cyber defenses in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.The Missing Link, founded in 1997, brings to the table a broad portfolio that spans offensive and defensive security services, cybersecurity compliance, managed services, and strategic advisory. With a mature team comprising Red and Blue Teams, a modern Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC), and partnerships across leading cybersecurity platforms, The Missing Link enhances Infosys’ ability to offer full-stack cyber protection across cloud, data, and enterprise networks.The acquisition complements Infosys’ global footprint, especially in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region, where digital transformation efforts are accelerating. By combining The Missing Link’s expertise with Infosys’ cloud services under the Infosys Cobalt umbrella, the two companies aim to deliver integrated, scalable cybersecurity offerings that address both technical vulnerabilities and strategic risk management.Once completed, the acquisition will strengthen Infosys’ position as a cybersecurity partner of choice for global enterprises. The transaction, expected to close in Q1 FY2026, is subject to standard regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
