GTT Accelerates European Transformation with Envision Platform

GTT Communications, a global networking and security as-a-service provider, is restructuring its European division to accelerate service delivery, deepen customer engagement, and expand its cloud networking capabilities. At the core of this transformation is GTT Envision, the company’s automation-driven platform that is reshaping how enterprise networks are connected, orchestrated, and managed across the region.

Backed by a strong performance in 2024—including the addition of over 170 new enterprise and wholesale clients—GTT has accelerated infrastructure investments and process changes across Europe. The company expanded its reach with new Points-of-Presence in Amsterdam, Milan, and Lisbon, while improving service activation speed globally by 14%. These enhancements are supported by Envision’s automation capabilities, which now cover more than 11 million on-net addresses, enabling faster quotes and deployments.

To align with these advancements, GTT has overhauled its leadership and organizational model. A newly appointed Enterprise team, led by SVP Richard Aspinall, will oversee EMEA and APAC accounts, while a dedicated Wholesale team under SVP Mark de Haan will manage the broader partner and channel ecosystem. Additionally, the company’s global service assurance unit has been restructured under SVP David Iannone to deliver faster, more product-aligned customer support.

Further integrating its cloud expertise, GTT has folded its long-standing advisory group, Advanced Solutions, into core business units across Europe. This move ensures that cloud management and hosting insights are embedded within all stages of customer engagement—from solution design to support.

The combined efforts reflect GTT’s push to provide greater transparency, responsiveness, and localized expertise for its European customers, reinforcing its role as a connectivity partner that bridges regional delivery with global capability.
