Evolve IP has acquired Cardiff, UK-based cloud communications provider and Cisco BroadSoft partner thevoicefactory Ltd.The buyout is part of Evolve IP’s ongoing market development strategy and will provide the company with additional distribution channels in the UK and Europe, a significant client base, and more headway into the hospitality, automotive, finance, and legal verticals, the company says.Thevoicefactory, founded in 2009, has more than 65,000 users in 21 countries as part of its private label program. All of thevoicefactory’s current 35 resellers will gain access to Evolve IP’s intellectual property an service delivery capabilities, which includes web-based call management, an advanced omnichannel contact center, single-sign-on identity and access management, and Evolve IP’s worldwide team of application developers, the company asserts.Additionally, Evolve IP will open offices in Fordingbridge, UK and Orlando, Florida as well as gain new data centers in the UK and United States. Evolve IP and thevoicefactory each share a common architecture and framework through Cisco Systems' BroadSoft platform. The company believes this will allow rapid adoption of new features and capabilities for existing clients.
