Compucom Brings In Observability Services from HPE OpsRamp

MSP and reseller Compucom recently partnered with OpsRamp to integrate broad IT observability services across Compucom’s Full Lifecycle Observability (FLO) Framework, which will help its customers monitor hybrid infrastructures, networks, cloud services, and more.

The deal will enable Compucom customers to gain advanced AI and automation capabilities from OpsRamp’s observability platform, including proactive issue detection, faster incident resolution, and improved operational efficiency, according to the companies.

The Compucom FLO Framework brings together enterprise IT data from inside company departments including support, workplace technology, employee experience, compliance, and IT operations, and integrates data into a centralized dashboard where it can be used to drive improvements and efficiencies. Using AI and analytics, it provides a comprehensive view of the IT environment and offers insights and recommendations for overall improvement. By adopting OpsRamp across its services portfolio, Compucom will further enhance its ability to deliver observability across hybrid infrastructure, network, security, and cloud services.

“Compucom's adoption of OpsRamp strengthens its ability to deliver FLO services, expanding its offerings to MSPs and their customers,” Varma Kunaparaju, senior vice president and general manager of cloud platform and OpsRamp, told ChannelE2E. OpsRamp is a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company.

The new partnership between the companies “enables MSPs to proactively manage complex IT systems with AI-driven insights and automation, reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency,” said Kunaparaju. “OpsRamp enables MPSs to manage more clients, deliver more services with increased SLAs, automate everything possible, and ultimately drive more revenue.”

OpsRamp services include multi-tenant and multi-tier architecture, allowing MSPs and systems integrators to provide multicloud and multivendor observability – and recurring revenue streams – using an AI-powered automation platform.

The OpsRamp operations management capabilities will simplify how Compucom delivers managed services to its customers and the strength of the outcomes – in terms of optimizing availability, performance, and utilization – that it can create for customers,” said Kunaparaju.

OpsRamp’s observability services have been inspired and refined over time in part by feedback from customers, said Kunaparaju. “Our MSP partners frequently share with us that their biggest challenges include managing their customers’ hybrid and multicloud environments. With these capabilities, MSPs can provide a better customer experience, and we can help MSPs see better results.”

In addition, he said, the OpsRamp observability platform includes more than 3,000 integrations, offering customers and MSPs a wide range of multicloud, multivendor capabilities for broad IT observability across infrastructures, from networking to GPUs to full hybrid environments.

Observability Capabilities Are a Core Benefit for MSPs and their Customers: Analyst

Shelly Kramer, Founder and principal analyst at Kramer&Co., told ChannelE2E that full stack observability and lifecycle monitoring capabilities and comprehensive ITOps management are rapidly growing in importance for enterprises of all sizes today.

“Beyond that, the integrations, the intelligent automation capabilities, combined with AI-powered capabilities that detect anomalies and help reduce the load on IT teams make the advantages of HPE OpsRamp hard to dispute,” said Kramer. “I see this as a smart move by Compucom and one that will allow it to better and more completely serve its customer base with more comprehensive IT Ops management capabilities. For an MSP, this could easily be viewed as a competitive advantage and one I would absolutely be leveraging.”
