Cloudflare Powers Enterprise Access to Claude AI with MCP Server Toolkit

Cloudflare is enabling a new class of AI-powered enterprise applications by providing the infrastructure for companies to connect securely and seamlessly to Claude, Anthropic’s conversational AI assistant. Through Cloudflare Workers and support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), leading software vendors including Stripe, PayPal, Asana, and Atlassian are making their platforms accessible via Claude.Until recently, MCP servers had to be run locally, limiting their reach and usability. Cloudflare now supports remote MCP server deployment, removing that barrier and expanding access to web-based tools and services. Developers can now build and deploy remote MCP servers with built-in support for:workers-oauth-provider: Simplifies OAuth-based authorization McpAgent: Handles transport for remote connections in the Cloudflare Agents SDK mcp-remote: Adapts local MCP clients for remote use AI Playground: Provides a chat UI for interacting with remote MCP servers This shift brings MCP into the mainstream, enabling AI agents to function seamlessly across browsers, mobile apps, and shared environments—no local setup required. At the core of these integrations are MCP servers—gateways that allow AI agents to access tools like CRMs, project management platforms, and payment processors. Cloudflare provides the only end-to-end toolkit for building these servers securely and efficiently, with support for authentication, permission enforcement, and data visibility—key requirements for scalable AI experiences.Leading vendors have already begun using Cloudflare to deploy their MCP servers, allowing users to manage projects, process payments, and resolve issues—all by interacting with Claude. Square, for example, has made its APIs accessible to Claude, enabling automated commerce workflows for small businesses. Tools like Sentry and Linear have embedded Claude into developer environments to reduce context switching and streamline issue resolution.Cloudflare is also rolling out its own MCP servers, allowing Claude to interface directly with its performance, security, and observability tools. Developers can now use conversational prompts to analyze logs, debug infrastructure, and manage deployments—all within Cloudflare’s ecosystem.
