Are tariffs back on the table? Yes. No. Maybe so.

For MSPs, as ChannelE2E reported last week, there might not be much of an impact as tariffs are imposed on products, not services. But if you do have a products business, well, that might be a different story. Acer, for example, is raising prices on its laptops by 10% as a result, the company told The Telegraph last month.

Jason Chen, the chief executive and chairman of Acer, said in mid-February the U.S. price increase on laptops made in China would happen “by default” and apply from [March].

As CNN reported today, "Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick Tuesday evening made a stunning statement: Canada and Mexico had been blowing up his phone all day, and he believes Trump is “probably” ready to announce Wednesday that he’ll meet America’s neighboring nations halfway on tariffs."

There's speculation that the administration will make an announcement later this afternoon that could keep tariffs at 25% on Mexico and Canada but could include certain product exemptions, including automobiles, CNN said, quoting Lutnick.

Buckle up -- it's going to be a bumpy ride.
