MSP Acquired: Thrive Buys EaseTech -

Thrive has acquired managed IT services provider EaseTech of Columbia, Maryland. Financial terms of the MSP buyout were not disclosed.

Thrive, backed by private equity firm M/C Partners, provides cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, global network management, disaster recovery, and compliance-driven NextGen services. The company, based in Foxborough, Massachusetts gains a Mid-Atlantic foothold with the EastTech acquisition, Thrive said.

EaseTech’s Owner Transition

EaseTech was founded in 1993 by Charles Bubeck and now has more than 40 employees. The firm provides cloud-focused managed services to businesses in the Maryland, Virginia and the Washington DC area.

Bubeck will now serve as a consultant, the company announced. Also, EaseTech President Jason Shirdon transitions to EVP of GM at Thrive, leading the Maryland office.
